I am planning to build a fish pond with timber sides, about 6foot by 4 foot, or possibly 8 foot by 6 foot. this pond will be about 2 foot deep. As it will have timber sides to it, I am wondering how much weight the water will be, and therefore how strong I have to build the sides.
