Say, there’s 5 people in the house and they all eat breakfast and dinner. Would they be using up more water if they use the dishwasher once at the end of the day or would it be more economical to wash stuff by hand?

Yesterday I tripped while running down a hill and naturally out of reflexes my hands went down to reduce my impact. Well unluckily my left hand started to bleed it is a small wound (maybe 2 cm in diameter). I did not do anything to it to sterilize it and today i am worried that it might be infected i have heard bad things about infections. There is slight discoloration of my skin but that is right on the spot where the wound is. Also there is some yellowish whitish stuff coming out on top of the wound i do not know if this pus. Please let me know what effects an infected wound can have on someone. Thanks. Edit: It hurts when i touch the spot but it does not hurt too much.

I am moving from Jersey City to Boston Downtown in December 13th. I am planning to move all my stuff to Boston. Actually we are 4 roomies together and planning to share transportation. So each person has at least 4 bags of stuff. So it makes 16 bags. Plus we do have 4 futons of twin size. I want to move it in cheapest way. Also I do have only Auto License.

I’ve heard that dark chocolate is good for you like for a bunch of different reasons but is it ALL dark chocolate like hersheys and stuff like that or is it only certain kinds? I love the hersheys dark chocolate bars like just a little piece every now and then but I’m not sure if I get the health benefits from it…anyone know?

I am going to be making a cake in the near future, and wanted to make things out of gum paste, but never have done so. I have some sort of idea how to go about it, I have bought the mixes, and am planning it out…. But say you make leaves, and you want to put it on the edge of a cake that is going to possibly ( I am going to try) have fondant on it, how do you get it to stick on top of the fondant? Is there some sort of sugary paste you can use? Thanks Hmm. I’ve never used Royal Icing. I was going to ice the cake with buttercream icing. Gonna try to make a cake not with flowers, but with dinosaurs and volcano’s. Was gonna try to add leaves and other stuff somehow. I just figured gum paste would be easier because I had read that it was kind of like a clay texture, and in school, I worked with a lot of clay(art school). I will look into the royal icing though. Just thought it may be easier seeing as how I already have the gum paste mixes. thanks :D Oh. I also forgot to ask: I had seen in a video that buttercream icing was the easiest for the fondant recipe that I seen to stick too (some marshmallow recipe). Would royal icing be better, or are they both ok?

My family bought huge “tupperware” containers made by Rubbermaid. The size is about 12 x 14 x 14 inches. I want to store clothes and bags in them but the containers smell… like plastic? and my stuff smells like the container now. I will regularly use the items I put in the container. Q: How can I get rid of the smell of the containers? or prevent the containers from smelling like plastic? Any easy to do solutions out there that don’t include putting in mothballs into the containers?

I can’t stand beer, so I’m always looking for a good mixed drink to enjoy instead. I like tequila blanco (the clear stuff). Can you recommend and really good mixed drinks to make with it? Something new, different, interesting. Thanks!
